One way that I have done this is to print to a Postscript file (.ps) and then use the ps2pdf utility to convert that to a pdf file. If ps2pdf is installed (I think it comes on the cds, if its not already installed), then print to a postscript file, on the command line do ps2pdf file.ps file.pdf and that should convert it.
