Hello,
using Redhat 8.0 I am trying to compile freetype 2.1.2 from SRC RPM's. Here are
the steps I use:
rpm -ivh freetype-2.1.2-7.src.rpm
cd /usr/src/redhat/SPECS/
rpmbuild -bb freetype.spec
At the very end the following error message appears:
RPM build errors:
File not found: /var/tmp/freetype-2.1.2-root/usr/bin/ftmemchk
File not found: /var/tmp/freetype-2.1.2-root/usr/bin/ftmulti
File not found: /var/tmp/freetype-2.1.2-root/usr/bin/ftstring
File not found: /var/tmp/freetype-2.1.2-root/usr/bin/fttimer
File not found: /var/tmp/freetype-2.1.2-root/usr/bin/ftview
and the binary RPM is not created. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Can
somone confirm the error message or tell me it works for them?
