Running RH 7.3 and I can start the MySQL daemon but when I try to login as a normal user, I have no luck.
MySQL is located here /usr/local/MySQL/mysql.tgz/bin and I've added this to my path but when a user tries to start it with ./mysql I get the following error, Error 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (111) Please help thanks -Chris ===== ***************************************** GAIM ID: cmmiller1973 ***************************************** __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
