Everything is o.k now. I managed to get system comander to boot both with no problems. Yeah, with regard to the number of o/s's, I am new to linux, and experimenting. Currently have no problems with it, and find it really good to use. Mandrake is just another one I tried, but I purchased RH8, and it is the most complete install I have, and my main linux system. I primarily use win98 for all windows uses, but got a copy of XP, and wanted to see what it was like. I am basically a turned person, opting to use linux for 95% of computing use. windows is, as I said, just there for games now.

OK, whoops. In your original post, you mentioned none of this. I thought you had just installed Linux. I had no idea you were screwing around with 4 different operating systems. Basically, I thought you were a 'newbie'. Please post more information next time. As far as helping you now, truthfully, this is way beyond me. I would personally never do this myself, due to the possibility of screwing up like your system is now. 4 operating systems 2 pairs of which are similar seems a 'touch much'. But each to his own. Good luck. Ofcourse, I could be a real Linux fanatic, tell you to blow everything away, and ONLY install RH8, as it is all you will ever need. :-) --- Edward Dekkers (Director) Triple D Computer Services P/L -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@;redhat.com?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@;redhat.com?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
