I am trying to add applications to the GNOME menu bar and am failing dramatically. I have found menu editor under the KDE desktop and have succesfully used it. Could anybody out there help me with adding the applications to the Gnome menu bar. I have found how to add applications to the panel but this is not what I wish to do.
