probing for video card -------> detects my
tnt2
probing for monitor --------> unable to
probe <---------------------------- IS THAT THE CAUSE
WHY MY INSTALL FREZZES????

Alex,
Did
you specifically test the monitor during setup? Even if the OS probes
the video card correctly, the monitor must be set correctly. I've seen
setups freeze and the monitor has been the culprit.
