The server also functions as an Apache 2.0 server serving PHP webmail (Squirrelmail) server and a MySQL based PHPWebCal. The server is a combination POP3/IMAP server. IMAP does take up a bit more CPU than POP3 - especially when a client (i.e. Mozilla) is set to query all boxes every 5 minutes. I'm running SpamAssassin globally on this server, with individual "exception" rules. I think comparing the numbers - the fact is that SpamAssassin is rather CPU intensive.
