1. Turn on your word wrap (don't use Quoted Printable unless you absolutely have to). 2. What type of RAID controller are you using? We're using a similar array (210 I believe) and have yet to have reliability issues with it. I'm assuming Dell has replaced hardware already? Do you get any sort of kernel messages before you lose your data? And lastly - how cool is it in the room you're keeping your PowerVault? Now the PowerEdge 2450 attached to it is another story. We've had more problems w/ onboard RAID and the internal array than w/ the PERC 3D/C and external PowerVault. In most regions Dell support is lacking in Knowledge re: Linux.
