I just installed a RH 8.0 machine, SSH is running as a
service, and I can SSH to localhost (key exchanges and logs
me in), but if I try to do it from another machine on the LAN
(using the target host's IP address) it won't work....doesn't
even really time out...just says it's connecting for over 5
minutes. I can ping the target host from the client node.

I use the same SSH client to connect to my OpenBSD box at
home and to another OpenBSD box here, so it's unlikely that
it's the client.

I've not changed any of the default configs after the
install, other than the hosts file, etc.

Anyone know what silly little thing I missed when setting
this machine up?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,

Dave
