I will like to know what the module-info file is for. I have been looking for information about it but couldn't find anything on Google or Redhat.
I compiled a new kernel and even though I don't have a new module-info in the boot directory, everything is working fine. But I suspect there is a reason for the file to be there.
How can I create one for my new kernel?
