A word to the wise. If you want to avoid the mysterious sort of head
pounding, rusty filings in the eyes problems *I* had, make sure you have
IP_FORWARDING turned on if you're trying to get demand dialing ppp with the
2.3.4 pppd and ip_masquerade working. Otherwise, the packets get to the
firewall box and sit like dirty lumps.
The happy note is, having passed that hurdle, I have quite a nice home
ethernet going now, with all traffic passing through my linux gateway.
Yippeee.
