If all you need is default gateway then make sure that gated is not
running (type '/etc/rc.d/init.d/gated stop' and then 'setup' -> select
ntsysv to edit the run level so that gated does not restart next reboot)
then you need to add the default gateway to /etc/sysconfig/network
