The following issue has been SUBMITTED. ====================================================================== http://bugs.librdf.org/mantis/view.php?id=441 ====================================================================== Reported By: andyrtr Assigned To: ====================================================================== Project: Redland librdf RDF API Issue ID: 441 Category: installation Reproducibility: always Severity: minor Priority: normal Status: new ====================================================================== Date Submitted: 2011-04-26 16:37 Last Modified: 2011-04-26 16:37 ====================================================================== Summary: When you break the ABI in 1.0.13 you should increase also the .so library version number Description: We want to install redland 1.0.13 and redland 1.0.12 along each other due to compatibility reasons in ArchLinux.
Since 1.0.13 the ABI has changed in an incompatible way I think you should increase the libs .so version like you do in rasqal+raptor. This would allow us to install them both together in an easier way. PS: Maybe you should count all 3 libs (raptor/rasqal/redland) all with the same major version numbers because they seem to deeply depend on each other. ====================================================================== Issue History Date Modified Username Field Change ====================================================================== 2011-04-26 16:37 andyrtr New Issue ====================================================================== _______________________________________________ redland-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.librdf.org/mailman/listinfo/redland-dev
