I'm using two
monitors/screens/bildschirme with RedNotebook 1.1.2 under
Windows XP. Presumably Windows presents this to the
application as one large screen, but to me they are two
separate and distinct entities used for different purposes. My
left-hand screen is used for research and my right-hand screen
is my working monitor. When I start RN for the first time, it
comes up on the right-hand screen, I write something, then
close to the system tray. Every time after that RN starts on
the left-hand screen at its upper-left, presumably coordinates
0,0, and I have to drag it back to where I want it. Kinda
irritating.
The same goes for RN's subsidiary screens (about, export, backup,etc.). I'm working with RN on the right and hit Backup, the the screen comes up on the left. Would it be possible someday for RN to store its current screen coordinates upon exit or close to system tray, so that next time it runs it comes back to the same place on the screen? And the sub-screens are displayed relative to the main screen? Thanks, Bob |
