Well, maybe he did ;) However I think such functionailty is beyond the
scope of RedNotebook. Also if you have a TODO item in your categories
for today and you open RedNotebook it will be visible immediately.

not sure if that's what you mean, but the preferences dialog has
an option to start RedNotebook automatically.
