I went to the game on Father's Day with my 3 oldest sons. On the way in we
discussed whether we should cheer or boo for Manny. We unanimously decided to
overlook Manny's shortcomings and cheer since he was a huge part of 2
championships in Boston. In my opinion there were a lot more people cheering
than there were people booing. However, since boos tend to be a lot louder
than clapping, the boos probably tipped the noise meter scale. But, in general
I was happy to see the majority of people focusing on Manny's positive
contributions. And at least he didn't end up with the Yankees.
