Actually, this paying question gets to another reason I don't want a new park.  
Many clubs use the new park as an excuse to charge season ticket holders a 
multi-thousand dollar one time fee to keep their tickets. 

I think I'd have to give up me seats if that happened.

        Cain's not a bad pitcher either however would have been nice to see
        Lincecum vs Strasburg...  Before the Strasburg effect, I took the
        train down for a game in April and seats behind home plate were
        available for $28/each.  Not sure who's paying for the park?
