At this time, my enthusiasm for the season has waned. I will never admit that the Sox didn't have a chance this season and I maintain that they had at least as good team as the Rays and would likely clinch a play-off spot and go deep into the play-offs and possibly win the WS.
No one could have predicted this calamity. This is beyond a reasonable assumption of having a few injuries. This sucks.
