If there's one thing I've learned from my fantasy baseball league, it's that
overnight sensations are incredibly rare.  Players normally seem to need an
up-and-down period before they settle into the majors.  Jed Lowrie is one
example, but Pedroia came up for his cup of coffee, and Youk was an
up-and-down guy for years.

So Greinke is probably right.
