Oh God. Give me a break. Did Tom say that they'd have the worst injury riddled season of any team in the majors and worst in all our collective memories?
This is a great team even when 78% healthy (minus two starters out of nine). And they had a chance at the play-offs and the WS if it weren't for being the worst injury year anyone can remember. So to say that Tom was brilliant because he said it's a mediocre team way back in May is just ridiculous and lacks credibility. Normally, I joke around and have a good attitude on here, but that's just crazy talk. This team performed very well this year and I'm happy we have the roster we have. I hope they all stay next year.
