I figured Burnett was due for a decent game, although I think last night's
result was more due to the Red Sox inability
to get a clutch hit, than Burnett be outstanding - although he did pitch well.
But he was really missing locations all night,
and it seems like with one timely hit, he could have been had. But I give him
props for hanging in there with massive amounts
of negativity being thrown at him by Yankees fans and NYC media.

A-Gon had a terrible series, with like 2 hits over the three games. He was
swinging at garbage every AB, and the Yankees
really pitched him well. Crawford, too, swung at a lot of bad pitches. He is
looking very Vlad Guerrero-like, the difference
being that Vladdy connects on a lot of bad pitches. Oh, and he doesn't make
$142 million.
