Not to defend Miller -- who has been awful for the most part (but had
two strong starts right before these last two September starts) -- but
Wake has also been terrible, aside from his nine brilliant September
innings. His OPS against was .839 in August and .920 in July, and his
ERA has been over 5 in every month but May.

The OPS against Lackey, for the season, is .852.

This, of course, means that three of our starters are currently
near-certain losers every time they take the mound. Let's go Kyle
Weiland! And I'm pretty sure Aceves could outpitch any of the three at
this point ...
