Context is important. Felger & Mazz have been beating the same drum for the entire season, suggesting that Crawford was an ownership signing because they were worried about NESN's sagging ratings.. They presented the theory to Henry, saying they felt Theo didn't really want to sign Crawford but ownership made him do it.
Henry called bullshit and told them why. HIs larger point is that ownership doesn't interfere with baseball decisions. I've got no beef with Henry. Whether the visit was premeditated (on Henry's part, not the station's) I don't know. The "just driving by when I decided enough was enough" storyline rings as to good to be true. But he answered questions and he did so without hiding his identity. Gotta respect that. BTW, I still don't believe Lucchino didn't have a role in at least some of the article. I don't trust that guy.
