It does seem pretty thin. I would also hope that Theo is above it. Frankly, I
always thought it was Larry Lucchino that did the back-stabbing
in general, and also in this particular case. I think he is the 'swayer' of
Henry and Werner, and the Bobby V hiring proves it, in my mind. It
would not be beyond Lucchino to NOT say anything about Paps after he left, just
to provide 'proof' that it was Theo!

It's ridiculous to think that these two dimwits would have sources who could
reliably give up Theo as the source of the Bob Hohler piece. After all, aren't
there only two people who definitely know who the source(s) are? The source and
Bob Hohler.

Furthermore, the "evidence" laid out is no evidence at all, just a series of
facts that try to weave together.

All that being said, the only rationale I could see Theo having for dumping on
Francona is he saw it as the only way to avoid getting trashed himself when he
left town. So it's ironic that hed now be getting trashed for trashing.

But I prefer to think he's a better person than that. I'd be disappointed if
definitive evidence came out that he was the one dumping on Francona.
