It does seem pretty thin. I would also hope that Theo is above it. Frankly, I always thought it was Larry Lucchino that did the back-stabbing in general, and also in this particular case. I think he is the 'swayer' of Henry and Werner, and the Bobby V hiring proves it, in my mind. It would not be beyond Lucchino to NOT say anything about Paps after he left, just to provide 'proof' that it was Theo!

Furthermore, the "evidence" laid out is no evidence at all, just a series of facts that try to weave together. All that being said, the only rationale I could see Theo having for dumping on Francona is he saw it as the only way to avoid getting trashed himself when he left town. So it's ironic that hed now be getting trashed for trashing. But I prefer to think he's a better person than that.
