Valentine is a Goober. I cannot believe we let this team's poor
performance drive Tito out of town with some "The team didn't have the
right feel" bullshit.

For some reason Bard could not throw a strike with a man on 2nd base with 2
outs. He had the same problem twice in the game. I even saw Acevis
motion, "There's 2 outs, don't worry about this guy."

Bard's head would swivel around, fix the runner on second with a stare, and
then come around to the front as he started his pitch. He's not friggin'
Fenando Valenzuela or Luis Tiant. Look at the friggin' catcher's mitt and
throw the ball!

It was obvious from the stands that Bard was a basket case.

"Right look in his eye."

For crissakes.
