Lucky, good, whatever..... I just hope that they are getting on track (or is it
'untracked'?) as it would be great to have both the
starting pitching and bullpen be on the same page.... Along with Bobby V, who I
hope is starting to get comfortable with his
starters limits....

As a results-oriented guy, I'd have to say that you're right.  Bard only let up
one run.

But, he was pretty lucky.   He walked the bases full, walked in a run on four
pitches, and brought Travis Hafner to the plate with one out.

Fortunately he got the double play ball, but he could also have let the game
get tied by walking himself up to the cleanup hitter.

That said, Bobby Valentine got Bard out of there at the right time.  Bard ended
the 6th by giving up a monster fly ball with two men on base and two outs.  It
was time for him to come out and Valentine finally pulled the trigger.

I know it's "just" the Indians but I'm happy with the starting pitching the
