Remy has had a number of health issues over the past few years. I am sure you remember that Remy had a serious bout with cancer a couple years back. That absence was extended by a battle with depression following his cancer. Since then I feel like Remy needs to take time off from time to time to deal with various issues. Not sure of the details on this latest matter - everybody seems very silent on that.
That said, as much as I like Remy, I really love Eck in the booth. He is a great color guy with lots on insights on the game.
