Beckett, Lester and Bucholtz I forget - who else was supposed to be in the starting rotation according to the organization? Bard - he failed early and often - yet no plan if he didn't work out and had to go back to the bullpen. Who else? Certainly we weren't thinking that DiceK would be the savior did we? I've been saying this all season - the starting pitching was never there and still is not. Granted Beckett and Lester have not done their job - but I also lay blame on the organization for not properly preparing for this season (hope is for fans - not for business) around starting pitching.
