I got this list below that shows we're in for big changes. Frankly, I don't care who manages the team. It makes little difference. Catcher Salty -- Stays Lavarnway -- back to AAA or gone. He's not a big league catcher. Infield Aviles -- Goes to arbitration. Could remain a decent utility guy. Ciriaco -- Back to AAA or gone. Too easy to strike out. Gomez -- Back to AAA Inglesias -- Back to AAA unless we adopt a DH for SS Loney -- Gone. Pedroia -- Obviously a foundation player. Outfield Ellsbury -- Arbitration eligible. Sign him to a mid term deal (IMHO) Kalish -- Who? Podsednick -- thanks for playing Ross -- Already signed for next year ($3M) Starting Pitching Lester Buckholz Jettison the rest Relief Pitching Bard Bailey etc. Frankly the Relievers did OK, though Aceves should never close.
