Really conflicted regarding Ells. Assuming he can stay away from the freak injuries (which is really what he has had in 2010 and this year) I would expect him to post 2011-type numbers in 2013, given that it's a contract year. But it will take a lot to sign him with Boras as his agent. OTOH, I don't view Ells as someone that want to sign an extension with the Sox prior to hitting the FA market - I'm not sure how much he really likes it in Boston. But if he puts up 2011-type numbers, the Sox have to try to sign him, right?
