As amazing as the Red Sox start to the season has been, the Yankees are equally as amazing - maybe more so, given the fact that Ben Francisco, Lyle Overbay, Jayson Nix, Brennan Boesch and Francisco Cervelli have all started
a number of games for them this year. I saw somewhere that their DL list payroll would be the 15th highest in MLB... And their pitching hasn't been nearly as dominant as the Sox. So good smoke-and-mirrors job by Girardi to have the Yankees only 2 games behind us...
