I just don't think Papi is dumb enough to do that, knowing that he dodged a major bullet with the Mitchell report stuff. Besides, it's not like he's hitting a million homers. His home run to at-bat rate is actually slightly below his career average (5.8 in 2013, to 6.1 career). He is hitting a lot of doubles, however.
Maybe the CHB should go investigate Vernon Wells. His HR-to-AB rate is WAY above his career average at age 34.
