A while ago I posted a question to this list about using cinder blocks in an
aquarium. I took the plunge and bought some and soaked them in acid for 3
weeks as Delbeek and Sprung reccomended. Then I soaked them for another 6
weeks.
I put them in my aquarium about 3 weeks ago and couldn't get rid of the
phospates in my brand new tank.
Yesterday I smashed one an soaked it in PO4 free RO water and I am
definately showing PO4 in there now.
I will be taking the cinder blocks out of the auqarium this weekend.
