I had 4 VHO and 4 NO (Ron H would have been proud) :) I took the vho's out (440 watts) and put 2 175 watt (350 watts) mh in (5500K,btw) I kept the 4 NO in. LPS were kept mid to low in the tank, some right under, some to the side. I also re-acclimated them to the light, starting at 6 hours and ramping them up to 12 hours over a few weeks.
