If it is fish only, you don't necessarily need a skimmer. Do your weekly
water changes, don't over feed and keep the fish load low and you should be
okay. You may want to consider using some live rock in the tank as well
(known as a live rock fish only LRFO set up), that will help with
filtration. Just remember with this set up, you have to be careful if you
have to medicate. Also, you may want to consider using a UV set up... (call
Ron H. and ask him about it).
