Well, I've always gone by the theory that fluorescents are fluorescents. If
the actinics have an especially narrow spectrum, then it wouldn't take much
to throw them off...like I have any idea how fluorescents actually work. :)
I agree, the mh needs to be changed, 1 year is time for any bulb to be
switched.
I agree on the algae, if there was a macro thriving, it was using nutrients,
if it's gone, then what will use it up?
