Hi All,

I've got a blue legged hermit crab that insist on crawling into a finger
type leather coral. I understand that when the coral is in a dormant or
sloughing (sp.) period the crabs obtains nutrients from the shedding mucus,
however this crab goes into the coral when it is fully open. This then
causes the coral to close up prematurely. The crab sometimes stays in there
for most of the day. Can this in any way harm the coral?
