I am upgrading my 90 gallon reef to a 180 gallon Twin-Overflow All Glass
tank. The existing sump is a 20 gallon
with a single 1" bulkhead that was feeding my protein skimmer with a Mak 4.
The return was just a Sen 900 sitting inside the sump. I need to upgrade my
return pump and would rather have it external. Can someone tell me if I can
tap off the bulkhead with a tee and use a second Mak 4 or equivalent pump.
I know it should have another bulkhead but would like your ideas. Would it
be better to just get a 30 gallon with 2 bulkheads?
