I have this kind of algae that grows in my tank that has taken a beautiful
Clavularia colony. I've tried to discribe it before. But I finally got a
digital camera so I'd like some opinions.I will describe it first then
anyone who want's me to email it to them can email me.It is brown, in
clusters ,it forms a net(literally)around what ever it grabs on to in this
case a colony of clavularia. It has a fine thread stem with a brown pom pom
bush about the size of a 1/8" diameter bead( very small). I've tried to pull
it off but it is so intertwined in the colony it kills the polyps,so I used
a tooth brush but now it has formed colonies in various places.I know I
can't save the clavularia but I would like to get rid of it. Any idea's?
Thanks
Tom
