I would look at your pH as a possible contributor, but would also REALLY
look at the sea apple as the problem. My approach would be to get the sea
apple the hell out of the tank, do a huge water change, run double dose of
carbon for a few days, and repeat in 5-7 days. At the same time, correct
your pH.
