I have a small Eheim that is quite old, but was working just fine last time I used it.
I had it on a 29 gal freshwater tank for several years, and it did a good job. Your
friend is welcome to it for just the cost of shipping, or he/she can pick it up if
they live near me (I'm in New Jersey).
I also have four large Eheims and would consider selling one of them. If you're
interested, I'll go look at the model numbers, I don't remember them offhand.
