I live in Phoenix, AZ. No gettin around them little suckers. They are just a part of life here. Fortunately, I have not seen many here, but we are moving into a new house soon on a plot of land that is just being developed. It borders an Indian reservation, which is untouched. That means that there are scorpions being stirred up by the construction, which will move to the reservation for a while, and will then migrate back into the development and thus into my house.
We have found a couple, and my sister in law has an whole bunch of em. They are nasty, disgusting little bassterds and are pretty fast and hard to kill too. If those electronic things work on them, that would be totally awesome! Shane PS. We also have Black Widows (I have killed about 5 of these, usually find them in storage closets) and Brown Recluse (sp) and I have friends that live out of town who have found tarantulas and rattle snakes in their garages and back yards.
