yes they are a bit touchy.
my experience is you MUST keep them on the sand. they like moderate water
flow (enuff to move tenticles) and low to mid light. vho's did the best for
me.
the sand you keep it on is PARAMOUNT!!!! use a find grain sand or sugar sand
for best results.
also DO NOT handle this coral anymore than to put it in the tank. make sure
where you are putting it is a good place. moving it later can and most times
will damage its soft flesh and lead to tissue necrosis. also feeding once a
week will ensure its survival. also when placing it do not let air get under
the plate. it will kill any flesh if air stays under it.
