First, I just bought a
Kent doser and the only place I have room for it is to drip into my sump.
However, I also have a UV sterilizer and a protein skimmer working out of my
sump. Will these two things affect the quality of the supplements that I am
adding? Will the skimmer take out the good stuff before it reaches my tank?
Second, I am interested in purchasing some caulerpa (Flying Fish
Express has grape and lettuce caulerpa, though I don't know which one I'll buy
yet). I have never added anything like this to my tank before, and don't know
the procedure. Do you acclimate it like a fish (drip method type of thing)?
Where would be a good spot to put it (on the sand, on a rock, near current,
near light, etc.)? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
