All,
In an earlier email, I mentioned six line wrasses, and that they are little
bullies. Well, I have been trying to catch mine for the last couple days. So
far, no luck. I was wondering, has anyone on the list succesfully captured a
six line wrasse from a reef tank (without tearing it apart)? If so, how? Is
there a certain type of food used or anything like that?
I have a trap, but he is not going for it. He ignores it, and any food I put
in it. Yesterday, I put some LR, and even a piece of coral in the trap to
make it look more like the reef itself hoping he would venture into it to
check it out. Then I proceeded to sit and watch him swim around it for the
next 2 hours. He does not seem scared, just not interested enough to go into
it.
Any suggestions anyone? I want to get him out because he is beating the crap
out of all my other fish, except a Royal Gramma that is 2.5 times bigger
than the six line, and mind you, the six line is not scared of the gramma.
Its just that the gramma sticks up for himself. Other than that, the six
line is wreacking havoc on all my other fish.
TIA,
Shane C.
