bird wrasses are not completly  reef safe, they can nip on corals, they eat every worm or little critter they found, they feed so voraciously on food that slow fishes will starve unless you add lots of food at once, and of course we dont want that.
Ive had 2 wrasses and they are pretty and very active fishes, but when feeding time comes, i hate them.
I had a bird wrasse and i think a lunare wrasse will behave the same way.
A pro is that they are very hardy and they live long. I had one for 3 years until a tumor i think killed him.
Be careful.

Hi all,
I was wondering with all this talk of wrasses, are Bird wrasses  and Lunare wrasses reef safe?  I have my eyes on one of each and I think they would really look nice.                                                                                 Rick
