i will ask you a strange question: what is the general function of the Technion (and any other education institute) in process of education? answer: accreditation of our know knowledge. education is secondary function of the Technion (and any other education institute). and in every course they talking about importance of self-education. and it is the true! we, student, work hard not in the classroom, we work in the our houses. and we paying for this classrooms, we paying for conditioners, for electricity, for salary of professors and аssistant, for grass in campus. Professor describe us items that already described in the books, in the internet, in the video lectures. read this by yourself, ask question from your friend, in internet forum and go to exam! there is a problem with labs, but it possible to organize this like Open University does it. as result we will have a extremely low-cost education, professors of the Technion will work in their projects, Technion will not need the large classrooms, student will possible to work and to learn on-time. people! we live in age of information. we not need in like monastery education centers.
