Berhubung agak sepi, saya tertarik mereview pandangan Pak Indra<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/referensi/message/11811>dan Pak ATA <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/referensi/message/12049> mengenai Prof.Dr. Karl Marx, SH.,SE.,ST.,MA.,MSc.,dst. Saya lanjutkan tentang CPR-nya Sahlins, saya temukan pembahasan mendalam kalau Marx sebenarnya bukanlah seorang Marxist, karena dalam "Capital" tidak diuraikan aspek 'suprastruktur'. Saya coba petik sedikit: "... The materialist conception of history is surely no functional reductionism; it does not conceive society as a modality of biological processes (social-Darwinism). This view has been known to Marxism, but not to Marx. Nor was Marx's a naive sensuous materialism which understood thought and consciousness as the simple reflex of perception. This too has been a position of famous Marxists, but not of Marx. Again, Marx's was no crass economism of the enterprising individual, counter-posed to a social environment which he manipulates to his own best interest. For Marx, 'the individual is the social being', man is man only as a member of society - just as that hypostasized economizing 'individual' by whom Western society figures itself to itself is the alienated product of that society, its ideological self-conception. ..."
