this is a little unclear -- can you please state exactly what you're trying to accomplish?  from the looks of it, you are asking if you can compare "close" but not "exact" matches of strings... is this correct?  i'm not clear what you are meaning by Company.companyName or tmpMatchCompany.companyName -- are these columns/fields inside query objects or struct keys?

Hello All
In one table I have the Company.companyName and another table I have the tmpMatchCompany.companyName I have identified the exact matches, however, I need to identify that if Company.companyName = ABC company, INc. is the match for
tmpMatchCompany.companyName abc company

Is this hopeless, there are approx 1,0000 files to match up?
