Hmmm, not a bad idea.
The reason I wanted to do this is because I made a tag to create 
soft-hyphens in a text,
to be use in narrow columns.
The problem is that I don't want things like addresses in href to be 
hypenated ;-)
I temporarily solved the problem by refraining from hyphenating when the 
string "href"
is found in the text, which is rarely the case in my application.

But I'll try you suggestion, thanks.
